IC Verification Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

The interview process was thorough but reasonable. The introductory interview with the hiring manager was followed by a longer technical interview with a senior member of the technical staff. Later on, a set of three shorter interviews with random members of the organization were conducted. The interview questions were spurious but essentially boilerplate.

There was little room for negotiation when the verbal offer was sent, but the offer was more or less commensurate for the role. The entire interview process took upwards of seven weeks, but I felt it gave both myself and the hiring manager plenty of time to decide whether the role was the right fit.

Questions

Various questions related to integrated analog/mixed-signal IP were discussed.

CSAs, BGRs, and general guidelines of DSP were also covered.
