A Skype interview was scheduled after an online application for a position in Germany. The hiring manager was late. He explained the role and started with basic technical questions about the projects and embedded knowledge. Later, he showed some design problems and wanted me to fill in the empty C functions. As I started to ask for more clarity, he seemed not to have the knowledge and called for another person who did not look to have a programming background. We kept on discussing the problem and later discontinued. The HM asked me what percentage of time I spent on coding, design, testing, etc., and seemed to get into trivial details of those percentages. He mentioned that the position required 90% of time to be spent on coding, which meant to me that it was just a programmer position.
The call lasted for more than 90 minutes, and I felt it was not properly organized.
volatile, sensor fusion algorithms, C, device driver coding
