It took a few months to get a CV selected to reach persons who are actually able to conduct interviews and make decisions. The interviews were rather unstructured; none of the interviews were the same. There was no real project or work to do behind the job openings, and no skill testing at the interviews. The hiring decision was subjective; two out of three positions were not filled, and for the third job opening for a senior engineer, they hired a senior operator. I asked Infineon for feedback on why they decided to not hire me, but they were not able to provide any answer. So, I guess the reasons weren't objective, which can happen.
