The interview was divided into a technical presentation and a personal conversation with an HR Talent Attraction Manager.
In the technical presentation, I was given the opportunity to detail my resume (education, jobs) and thus introduce myself to the team. In a subsequent FAQ, both sides were given the opportunity to ask in-depth questions. It went very pleasantly and satisfactorily.
The subsequent interview with HR surprised me. Internally, I had already prepared myself for standard questions and a group of HR seniors who would tear me apart (a bit exaggerated here). But everything turned out differently than expected: a personal face-to-face with a Talent Attraction Manager. And I had never experienced the subsequent style of conversation like this before. She gave me the opportunity to lead the conversation through general questions and to decide for myself when to share which information. This did not faze me at any point, and she received all the necessary information. Bravo! It was really very pleasant. Even when an answer required a bit of thought, she kindly said, "Take your time." This is how an interview should be conducted. Oh yes, we used "du" (informal "you") from the beginning.
which would impair my motivation.
