Depending on the manager, you will have a good career; otherwise, you will have a very difficult time.
There are some managers who do not do anything yet manipulate and reap all the benefits.
One manager just comes for attendance, rarely available at the desk, and even if at the desk keeps browsing unofficial sites and is not even bothered to read official mails nor respond! All the work will be dumped on the engineer and finally blame engineers while credit gets taken by the manager.
No accountability or responsibility is shown by this manager, who behaves like a king just passing orders! A lot of ego and toxic attitudes.
With one slight resistance or difference of view, the engineer will have a bad year-end review and no growth or, in the worst case, get terminated. The slightest form of official escalation will come with a huge retaliatory response. Middle management prefers to side with the manager and easily punishes the engineer, giving false reasons and blaming the engineer for everything.
The manager's false statements will be trusted, but not the engineer's true statements. It is very unfair. Life will be made terrible because the manager wants to enjoy life at the expense of others.
Company is capable of finding out these incompetent managers and sending them out.
Engineers have to work so hard while a manager enjoys free money for almost zero contribution.
None can understand the company strategy of keeping redundant managers and paying them huge salaries, but asking engineers to leave claiming cost reduction. Biased and unfair, and something is very wrong.
The interview process was efficient and professional. A video interview was conducted, followed by a prompt offer. Overall, it was a positive experience with clear communication throughout. It was a great experience.
Three-round interviews: manager, technical, and HR. They were quite nice and asked a lot of detailed technical questions, related or not related to my projects. For HR and the manager, they asked me some questions: * Relocation * Salary expectation
It is a very good process, including three rounds. Unfortunately, I was rejected in the first round itself. Then, those selected get the opportunity to get a second technical round where the project DSA is asked. After that, the HR round takes place.
