Fair interview, with general questions about the position's requirements. Friendly interviewer and a very relaxed environment. Technical questions were not very advanced. It felt like the goal was just to see if I was familiar with the required tools

They took the interview for 6 rounds. One telephonic, three technical, one HR, and one from the department head. After clearing everything, they say the position is on hold. I don't understand why they called in the first place.
