Android Engineer Interview Experience - Canada

Process

I went through an initial call with a recruiter and five rounds of interviews:

  • An initial coding interview with one developer.
  • Another coding interview with two senior developers.
  • A coding interview with a designer.
  • An interview with the architect.
  • An interview with the manager.

I really enjoyed the interactions with the developers; everyone was knowledgeable and shared good insights. After all five rounds, the recruiter let me know they'd be in touch soon.

Not a word for three weeks. I sent a follow-up email, asking for any kind of information after so much involvement from my side. It has been a week with no response.

Simply the worst interviewing experience I've had, as the recruiter left me feeling ghosted and unappreciated.
