Pros: Smart and focused co-workers.
Good pay and benefits.
Cons: At-will employers require employees to sign an agreement that employment can be terminated for no cause. It can be argued that Intel used this to eliminate positions based on age. The ranking and rating system was designed to turn co-workers against each other.

Pros: 8 Week Paid Bonding Leave, Sabbatical, Vacation.
There are a lot of perks, like the employee purchase program where you can buy CPUs and other PC parts for cheap. They also have free beverages in the cafe.
Cons: Not a good place for an Application Developer. They will always prefer to buy boxed solutions rather than build systems in house.
If you like to write code and you are not a low-level C or assembly programmer, then your contributions will not be appreciated.
A lot of the work they call Application Development is actually just implementing 3rd party software. They have a lot of misleading job titles.
