I had a quick phone screen with HR, followed by an interview with a manager at Intel.
I was then invited onsite, where I spent the day going through the usual gauntlet of interviews. The people were generally nice, and they provided lunch.
The thing that irks me, though, is not being denied, but never even receiving a rejection email or letter.
After a week, I asked the HR person but was told the team was still interviewing. It takes just a few minutes to send an email saying no. It's also a basic courtesy that I would expect from any employer, large or small.
