Process

It was an initial 1-hour phone interview. The interviewer asked questions mostly about the items on my resume, concentrating more on Perl and C++.

Setup and hold times also played a crucial role. Design logic questions were also concentrated on.

"Behavioral: How would you go about accommodating everyone's egos when working on a project?"

Most of the technical questions focused on power supply design. For this position, this is one of the more difficult tasks, so they want to know how switching regulators work and different trade-offs.

Questions

They asked more about routing algorithms, STA, and basic logic design questions.

Logic design questions, VLSI projects, and design automation.
