Very slow and lengthy interview process.
Took 3+ months from initial phone interview to the next step.
My interviews have been rescheduled multiple times with short notice.
First call was from the hiring manager, followed by a 7-hour virtual onsite interview. I was asked to present my accomplishments/previous experience to the team in a slide deck.

Pros: Intel is a large company with a variety of opportunities. However, these opportunities are dependent on the location.
Cons: Opportunities in California are fairly limited in production.

Pros: If you want to design microprocessors or semiconductor technology, this is the place. The technology is as good as it gets, though it can be difficult to pursue new ideas within the existing bureaucracy.
There are advantages to working for a market leader in terms of resources, technology, marketing, etc.
Cons: People are simply meat puppets. "You own your own employability" is the excuse for having no management investment in employee development. It's a cold, competitive culture.
"Only the paranoid survive" is taken by many employees to be paranoid about their fellow employees rather than the competition. It's so very big there are pockets of excellence and pockets of crap. It's difficult to know which is which before you sign up.
