Process
The interview process began with a phone screening, followed by an invitation for an on-campus, day-long interview. This involved a panel of engineers and hiring managers. There were "lot" of whiteboard questions. Following the interview, we went out for lunch, and I was offered the job the week after.

Pros: The pay is good, the work is easy. There's lots of money to throw at issues to make them go away. It can involve a lot of travel. They don't keep track of hours.
Cons: There is no concept of project management outside the fab. There is no consistency across multiple organizations with respect to standard engineering practices. Any standards that they do have are optional.
