Pros: When you are contracted directly by Intel, the benefits and facilities are amazing. The salary is very good, and the activities that Intel does are very fun. I have really learned a lot, and my manager is extremely flexible and understanding in many aspects. I don't know if this is the case in all groups, but in the group I'm in, the manager is always open to relocate us to the areas that we like the most. I came with a profile of hardware experience, and my manager liked my profile to start in continuous integration. The truth is that since I started in this area, I discovered that I love continuous integration, and before I had no idea what CI was. But although I am already "ramped" in this area, I have been told that if I am interested in taking more development activities instead of testing, they are 100% willing to teach me what I want to learn, and they have shown me.

Cons: When you are CW, the facilities are very different.

Pros: Amazing company to work in.

Cons: A global company is a bad thing.

Pros: Amazing work-life balance. Helpful colleagues. Great opportunities.

Cons: Competitiveness is high within teams. Some bad bets were made in mergers.
