The initial phone screening was easy, concentrating on Computer Architecture and C++ basics. I then had two more phone interviews. The first was relatively easy, and the second was a panel interview over the phone with three interviewers. This interview mainly concentrated on Comp Arch, academic projects, my research work, and software programming. I was able to answer most of the questions, but was later notified that the job offer was extended to another Senior PhD student.
The first two rounds will cover your resume and some basic C++ questions. The panel interview will include standard interview questions in addition to these.
