They try to make employees happy with good perks and a compensation plan.
It is easy to make lateral moves within the company and explore a whole new field of engineering.
Management is a little subjective when it comes to promotions. There's supposedly a system based in merit in place, but it all comes down to politics at the end.
Not much, really. The communication between manager and employee is pretty great. You should focus on rewarding the best instead of the ones you like better.
