Wok Culture, management, and work-life balance
None as per my experience.
It was over a decade ago, and mine was not a typical hiring process. I had specialized domain knowledge that is rare in India. The hiring manager knew me and sought me out through a headhunter. Hence, it was a simple conversation—not an interview!
A series of coding, algorithms, and problem-solving questions asking how to arrive at a solution. This involved a total of 5 rounds of interviews with multiple software engineers, senior engineers, and a hiring manager.
It was smooth, and the interviewers were friendly. They introduced the entire process and working culture, and gave team introductions. Then, they asked about my previous projects, implementation processes, and everything from my CV.
