Great company, all in all. Good pay.
Intel has a very hard time promoting from within. I have worked here for seven years. All my focal reviews have been successful or better (on a scale of 1 to 5, I ranked 3 or better every year), never below successful. I have a BS in EET. I have worked in the position of Engineer in charge of multi-million dollar machines, and I cannot get promoted. As much as I love Intel, I may have to leave so I can meet my long-term goal of being a titled Engineer.
Promote your people. We are training you PhDs, but you are not promoting us. We are educated, we are experienced; allow us to wow you.
