Bad career building opportunity. If you are an IT grad with an interest in a specific field, try getting into the field ASAP and gain experience. Don't bother wasting time in this department because what you learn is 95% not applicable outside of Intel (Intel proprietary knowledge, not general knowledge), and you will have to start all over again as a fresh grad if you decide to leave and pursue another field.
Harsh working schedule. Despite the great salary, the schedule is very rough. Weekly day and night shift rotation is not suitable for most normal human beings. Most people don't join in the first place because of the schedule.
Workplace is very biased and pretty toxic. If seniors don't like you at first sight, you are just going downhill from that point. Words will spread, and you will be targeted. Don't expect friendly seniors; they will mostly teach you in a rude and harsh manner (sighing, yelling, scolding). They will justify this by saying they went through the same thing (nice working environment, huh?). Not all seniors are like this; there are some really awesome ones as well, but it just happens that my shift is a special one.
Improve the teaching culture. Most people entering this role are fresh grads and know little to nothing at first. There is absolutely no point in being harsh, as this is not the right way to teach. Just be a normal, decent, civilized human and teach properly.
They will try to understand and find out your personality and what you are suitable for, so they can place you in a suitable role and then succeed.
The interview began with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which immediately put me at ease. I appreciated the professional and friendly demeanor of the interviewers, who made the conversation feel like a genuine discussion rather than an intimidatin
I got in contact with my senior working at Intel, and he helped me submit my application to the hiring manager. I received a phone call from the manager to discuss my background and interests. A Skype interview was arranged a few days later, where
