Pros

Training, benefits, bonus, and pay are value-added. There are some very dedicated co-workers who make the experience positive. You also get to see some amazing things with emerging technologies.

Cons

IT leadership is too focused on cost over quality, and the technical leaders are not held accountable for poor planning. Too much work is pushed to low-cost locations without the proper support to do quality work.

Advice to Management

IT leadership should focus on improving the existing processes and systems running the business. When replacing systems with a new process, measure the results over the 3-4 life cycle and do not take someone's word in a presentation without real, valid data.
