Pros

Great benefits. The pay is ok, but it does not keep up with the cost of living. They try to keep employees working.

Cons

They make promises which are not followed through.

They say your pay and promotions are based on performance, but they are not.

Intel claims they want employees to speak up, but when you do, you get into trouble with management.

They claim to have an open-door policy, but when used, you face retribution from management.

Worst of all, they use age discrimination when it comes to training, pay, and promotions.

Go to HR, and you are told to keep your mouth shut, or HR will make sure you get no promotion.

They use older people for cheaper labor.

Intel seems to know how hard it is for older people to find employment and uses this to its advantage.

Advice to Management

Make Intel values corporate-wide. Make all campuses follow the same rules and regulations.
