Pros

Benefits are nice: good insurance, employee stock purchasing options, sabbatical, and knowledgeable colleagues.

Cons

It can be a little stressful for the on-call rotations; however, that on-call experience depends on what area you are in. Some modules may receive many pages overnight, while others get zero and your sleep is uninterrupted :)

Advice to Management

Management sometimes likes to make changes without consulting engineers and considering the impact and return-on-investment of said decisions.
