I worked with some really awesome people, so many smart individuals. Everyone I interacted with was very kind and patient, and willing to help you learn. There is so much incredible development being done; it's a cool place to work.
LAYOFFS. I survived the first round of layoffs while I was there for 3 months and was unfortunately laid off this time around.
The atmosphere is terrible these days. Everyone is on eggshells, no one knows if they will have a job in a few months. There's more work for everyone to do and less people.
It will be interesting to see what happens going forward.
Stop laying people off and just see if this new chip set is actually going to work out and be the windfall needed to sustain the foundry. Laying off the people trying to make the company successful seems counterintuitive and makes achieving the goal harder.
