With my personal experience, there are no cons.
Two technical rounds: 1st technical round was purely based on your resume, mainly about the projects you have done. 2nd technical round was based on basic OOPS concepts, C++, Java, SQL, and Data Structures and Algorithms.
It was quite smooth. One important piece of information is that Intel is a heavily hardware-based company, so knowledge of C/C++ is a must. Further, your resume should have at least one internship or project based on C/C++.
The questions were mostly from embedded systems and also a few LeetCode medium questions. The panel consisted of three interviews, each from a different background. Overall, the interview process was straightforward.
