Pros

4 weeks sabbatical every 4 years 4 weeks - paternity leave 24 weeks - maternity leave 20 + 3 vacation days per year (10+ years) unlimited sick leaves

Cons

Self-serving employees and managers.

No standards for hiring; frequent backdoor hiring and nepotism.

Software engineering has no real substance, often just academic.

CPU HW engineers are narrow-minded, pretentious, and arrogant. They lack common sense engineering, perspective, and innovation.

Management will intentionally change the goalposts as and when it pleases, as a power grab mechanism, and will often remain behind the curtains to hide its own incompetence.

Rock-bottom compensation.

Eighty to eighty-five percent of the company is deadweight, doing busywork to please their boss, who is aiming to please his/her boss and so on to move up the job hierarchy.
