Your experience at Intel really depends on your team and manager. There are some absolutely terrible managers that make work awful. There doesn't seem to be any screening in place to prevent bad managers from being in charge, nor are there any requirements for them to get better. The culture can easily get very competitive and toxic without the right people in charge.
