Pros

Showing enough initiative, you can find yourself working on interesting problems and enjoying a career progression. Work-life balance is held at very high priority.

Cons

Currently, the company is in turmoil, and the path forward is unclear. In recent years, the trend is not towards better developed employees, like it used to be, but towards "execution" and "efficiency." These are all nice and good, if you don't end up turning your employees into drones. It really depends on your own actions, and to a large degree, on luck, too, to find the right role and program in which to make meaningful progress. Also, in recent years, compensation, even for successful employees, has been falling well behind the cost of living.

Advice to Management

Make employees feel like they are part of an A-team, and not like "execution" machines.
