Recent 2016 layoffs have resulted in poor morale amongst remaining employees and caused a sense of mistrust towards upper management. This is likely to stymie risk-taking, innovation, and reduce worker effectiveness.

Replace senior management to get better leadership that can make the right business decisions on how Intel invests its resources. Improve the focal system to be more transparent. Lack of transparency was one of the reasons why many felt the recent layoffs were unfair.
