Opportunity to work on projects with some serious scale. When Intel decides to move in a particular direction, it's a juggernaut. Stable company, good salary.
Political, bureaucratic, meetings, and processes valued above all else. The review process leads to backstabbing and internecine warfare. A ludicrous focus on placing junior people in jobs they aren't qualified to do.
