Everything is a pro until the company is doing well.
Too much comfort is literally pushing people out of the company.
When a company is not doing well, start cutting from senior-level pay and reduce headcount from management levels, not from engineering.
The hiring process was good. A phone interview followed with one-on-one interviews with four devs. I got through all of them, but decided not to take it as the pay was low.
The interview took place on a virtual audio call via Microsoft Teams. It lasted for roughly an hour before they got to know me and began the interview questions.
Rigorous but very relevant. No gotcha questions. No unnecessary algorithms and data structure questions that test your memorization skills. A healthy focus on career goals and approach to problem-solving. Loved it, actually. Not something I would say
