Pros
  • Only a few teams work on cutting-edge products, and if you're lucky to join them, you'll gain good experience in product development.
  • You get a little extra freedom as a developer to choose your own way of doing things.
  • You get a free fruit during lunch if you reach the cafeteria on time :)
Cons
  • Salary is average.
  • There is a lot of politics at lower-mid to mid-level management.
  • You can get stuck on the same project for years.
  • Internal job change chances are very limited to non-existent.
  • If you are good at coding, then get ready for loads of work.
