The technical interview questions were mediocre. However, the recruiters never got back to inform me about my application status formally. I received two missed calls from them on two different days during office hours when I was working and unable

They asked me to go to their office in Penang to do the interview. The interview was done in a conference room with a whiteboard. I was interviewed by 5 senior developers, although I ended up not working with them when I was hired.

Very informal, yet the technical questions are heavy. No need for formality, as long as you can answer the technical questions well. A phone interview works well, and hiring by phone is possible.
