Good pay and benefits.
Relatively laid-back environment.
Coworkers are good to work with.
Lack of communication and lack of competence of management.
Management tends to be reactive rather than proactive.
They claim that they promote a work/life balance, but then require that you complete training and meetings on your off days without compensating for it, and also to complete projects that more often than not require you to work on your days off.
Treat all employees fairly.
Don't say you can't do something, then allow a select few to get away with it.
There tends to be a "good ol' boys club", and if you aren't part of it, good luck getting promoted.
Do what you say you are going to. Don't set initiatives, such as work/life balance, and then require an inordinate amount of time outside of the regular schedule to complete work.
Be more proactive rather than reactive. Don't just throw programs into place as a quick fix, only to have to change everything because it didn't work. Research and really plan new initiatives before putting them into place. Don't allow "good ol' boys" to rule.
