Pros

A good training ground for engineers coming out of college.

Intel has many in-house training courses.

If you have a good manager with visible projects, the job can be fulfilling.

Competition is fierce, so it should bring out the best in you. I came from a small school, but I quickly realized I could compete with Clemson, Berkeley, and Stanford grads.

Cons

Small fish in a big pond. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle, especially if you are the passive type.

Small raises every year.

Advice to Management

Keep training and education a priority. Push creativity and thinking outside of the box.
