Pros

Stable position, no problem with scheduling vacation days or going on sick leave, flexible work time, sometimes working with the latest technology, free access to online courses, quarterly and yearly bonuses, lunch cards.

Cons

Some of the tasks are really boring, working mostly with not-so-good legacy code brought from the US after lay-offs. This results in stagnation. The company is dropping projects from the US to Poland, even though there is not enough space to pack this amount of people. Once there were mostly rooms with 3-4 people, but now these are packed, and new offices are open space. There is mostly a poor yearly base pay raise.

Advice to Management

Think about your employees rather than about meeting the deadlines. The same goes for keeping an eye on ongoing projects and changes. Engage more in this instead of just focusing on what upper management would say.
