We've actually been acquired by Intel. Fortunately, the company culture stayed true to its start-up days, meaning quite a bit of freedom in terms of working schedule. This allowed me to have a side gig, which eventually turned into my primary source of income.
Some people are stuck in their ways; others have personal vendettas.
