Pros
  • A great place to learn.
  • So many smart colleagues.
  • Tons of networking opportunities.
  • From an intern's perspective, have the chance to work on real-time company products with tangible results. A wide range of projects to work on throughout the term.
  • Team-driven atmosphere where asking questions is the norm.
  • Opportunities to explore many areas of the company, and great internal benefits.
Cons
  • Major learning curve with a "jump right in" attitude.
  • Higher-ups can be intimidating.
  • Heavy workload for a summer internship hourly role.
Advice to Management

Interns would benefit from having formal ramp-up plans developed with the intern office and managers. I felt in the dark about skill sets and trainings at times. A more positive attitude towards interests outside the role for professional growth would make for a comprehensive tech internship experience.
