Decent pay and benefits, with basic health care covered for the entire family.
Despite promoting a culture of work-life balance and family-first attitudes, the work that needs to be done cannot be completed by most people in a 40-hour work week.
Most of the engineers I know work 45-55 hours a week just to meet their deadlines.
