Pros

Big company with brand power.

Bonus and benefits.

Financial health.

Market dominance.

Cons
  1. Bureaucracy : Too many layers of managers. It looks like promotion to manager is abused to lower high voluntary attrition rates, and as a result, there are many managers who manage a tiny number of people.

  2. Abrasive culture : People tend to be mean to each other for the sake of being perceived as aggressive.

  3. Jungle-like rules of the game : Few people care about new hires or junior engineers. Very competitive environment.

Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the ground. Some organizations have a very high attrition rate, and there must be good reasons for it.
