Senior management is terrible. Scope for upward mobility is very limited, and favoritism takes precedence over fair performance evaluation. If you are not worried about promotion, you should be fine. It is fairly easy to get average reviews.
Please try to treat employees with fairness and dignity. Lead the organization with compassion and only make changes that are necessary for forward progress.
