Pros

I work at Intel Costa Rica as a software developer. Even though the pay is good, and according to your skills and how much you are willing to give (time, extra effort, etc.), your salary can increase considerably quickly.

I consider that working with so many capable people from so many different countries is the biggest advantage. This will quickly broaden your vision of the world and will help you grow at a quicker pace than most people pursuing a similar career path.

If you are someone who loves a good challenge, this is the place for you. Once you prove yourself to your peers and management, the challenges will come big and often. As soon as you are starting to get into your comfort zone, something big will shake you.

Cons

Everyone here is extremely ambitious and competitive (in a good way), and things move fast. If you want to stand out and go up the ladder, you have to apply yourself and be able to work hard and commit even when your plate is already full.
