If you like work-life balance and a more flexible work environment, this is a great place.
Salary is not the strongest point overall in Malaysia. Progression is slow and got worse due to Intel's recent performance. Depending on the team, you might not get a good senior to guide you. Most of my seniors here like to wear the "let you figure" hat and don't pull you back when you go too far. Often times, they are so busy they don't do passdowns properly.
Building up a proper team requires members to play with team spirit. Things like specs and BKMs should be well documented and updated from time to time such that new joiners won't feel isolated.
