Pros

The HR and benefits department, outsourced to a third party, fights hard to ensure proper healthcare and worker wellness is maximized. They are very lenient and understanding of the need to address personal emergencies.

Cons

Managers run hot or cold, and reorganizations happen often and unexpectedly. There's a significant quality difference in morale and output between teams with supportive managers versus jaded, near-retirees phoning it in. Luckily, transferring is generally a simple process.

Advice to Management

Better prep for reorganization events, especially for managers and their mandates listed for each team.
