Pros

One of the best things about working at Intel was the people. I worked as a Validation Engineer for over two years, and I had a great team. The work was a bit repetitive at times, but the projects were interesting and my coworkers were always willing to help and support each other.

Pros:

  • Stable workplace
  • Organized and structured work
  • Good benefits
  • Great people
Cons

Even though Intel provides a very stable workplace, the company was going through a difficult time, letting a lot of people go, cutting jobs, closing down sites, etc.

Cons:

  • Repetitive work
  • Projects take too long and are very slow
  • Upper management usually drives the project
  • No ownership of your work
Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to improve some of the processes for some areas of the company.
