Pros: Good work culture and work-life balance. Great benefits, including commuting and a free onsite gym facility.

Cons: Intuit recently had mass layoffs, which came out of the blue. Though the severance was sustainable, the handling of the entire situation was awful. Managers seemed unaware, and it felt like they were pushed to throw people under the bus so Intuit could label the fired employees as underperformers.

Pros: 1. Intuit is an employee-centric company. It provides a lot of benefits. 2. Relocation benefit, ESPP, RSU, Health benefits, etc. 3. Rewards in the form of spotlights

Cons: 1. Depending on the team, you might have to take late calls even after 9:30 PM and early calls even before 8 AM due to the need to connect with the US team working in the PDT timezone. 2. Since the work is done in short sprints, you need to give a status of the work done on the previous day in the next day's stand-up, which sometimes leads to exhaustion.

Pros: Nothing I can think of other than my bank balance.

Cons: The price you pay for that bank balance is your career itself, if anything. Intuit runs on bootlicking. Intuit is not a tech company. Intuit is the corporation that sucks the soul out of you, the one your mother told you never to work for. Hierarchy is very much enforced. Your career here depends on how much you suck up to your seniors. And nothing here will be "fair". Legacy tech stack. Monolithic products. Nothing challenging. Your starting salary will be the same as your salary after 3 years. They hire terrible mid-level managers. The kind of managers that will check what you're doing only for your annual hikes. They make a lot of mistakes in promoting the wrong people. That brings in a lot more enforced hierarchy, which makes it even worse. I can only laugh at their developer advocacy advertisements. There's no work-life balance. If anything, they'll force you to work on your vacation. You'll never work on anything challenging at Intuit. You won't have anything to boast about in your resume by working for Intuit. And good luck if you think you'll have a good career by being technically strong. College grads, do yourself a favor and save your career. Intuit is not Google or Facebook or even Microsoft.
