Software Engineer Interview Experience - Paris, France

September 1, 2021
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

First call with HR, which she forgot and postponed by one day.

Next round with a tech lead who did not seem very technical and/or professional. He was not the planned interviewer and was replaced at the last minute.

Questions included some easy LeetCode-type questions and past projects.

HR then immediately emailed me and set a call for a week later for feedback that was already known by them.

They decided not to continue with me because I did not show enough interest in frontend development.

Overall, the feedback was not convincing to me. The organization and professionalism of the people involved in the process were poor, and I had a generally bad experience.
