Pros: Good money, stocks, and the latest technologies. Good benefits.

Cons: I worked at Intuit for 5 years. In that 5 years, I was promoted once and was rated as a game-changer twice. Hence, I hope I am good enough to review this company. There are a lot of managers at Intuit who joined during the honeymoon period, i.e., around 2013, when Intuit was not a big brand. These guys are so insecure that they will make life hell for those whom they fear might make them irrelevant. The policies at Intuit are very aggressive, be it benefits or firing. I had 11 managers during my time at Intuit. I still think that being named a game-changer (top 1%) during this much flux is one of the achievements of my career.

Pros: - Good compensation - Health benefits are expensive, but nice. - Good location - Great office

Cons: Where do I start. - Intuit has one of the worst university recruiting teams in the market. I was an intern as well, and the way I was treated by the recruiting team was horrible and perplexing. My full-time offer was delayed by six months, and my emails and phone calls were unanswered all the time. They would only get in touch when they wanted to, not when you wanted to. I was made fake promises time and again. - This is a high-politics company. If you're in the good books of the management, you're good. But if you don't like something in the team/company, the best way to solve it is to keep it to yourself. - Small things will be magnified and pointed out to you time and again. - Some teams use really old technology. That is a big NO for someone starting their career in software development. - There is very little innovation in the company. - Intuit has a core set of values that all employees are supposed to exemplify. Most people working there either were not interested in them or didn't agree. - Intuit is not able to retain good young talent. Most of the interns/co-ops in my batch who got really good reviews and were highly recommended for a full-time offer did not join or left within six months of joining. - Very difficult to move in the company for career growth. - Definitely not a cutting-edge technology company.

Pros: They actually practice what they preach: take care of the employee, who will take care of the customer, who will take care of the shareholders.

Cons: Working remotely from headquarters limited contact with senior execs.
