Development infrastructure is on point. It uses the latest technologies. People are usually proficient.
They like to hire contractors to burn money on silly projects with no hope for a full-time job.
Don't do handshake interviews. Don't hire software engineers without technical experience. It creates a bad work environment when you have to find work for incompetent people to do and have tact when letting them know they are underqualified.
