Pros
  • Spotlight awards (if you know how to please the Manager)
  • Free food
  • Transportation
  • Dozens of hackathon (not really a hackathon, but a showcase event)
  • Good extra benefits
Cons

Products are decades old. Tech stack is very old. Nothing awesome delivered by the company. Even very ordinary frameworks orchestrated by Architects are praised. They call themselves an Engineers' company, but it's the vice versa. Sycophants and less skilled enjoy the company. No technically sound people in the leadership (Managers & Architects).

Advice to Management

Keep fooling around with talented people and lose them. The ones who stay are not worthy of being in a good product company.

Do promotions of the company; nothing else good can be done here.
