Work-life balance. Intuit really encourages us to work within business hours. My manager is doing a good job at it.
Good direct manager. I was in a group that had so many changes and politics. After the re-org, my current manager is good, and I am happy with the management once again.
Competitive salary. I compared the salary in the market, and Intuit offers a very competitive salary for my position.
Stability. Intuit is big, and the project usually has a long lifespan, so the job is somewhat stable.
Location. Mountain View is a good location.
Telecommute/working from home is allowed within certain guidelines.
The company is too big, with too much politics.
It's hard to innovate with the product offerings they have, as it's restricted by business requirements.
There's too much paperwork.
I'm not sure if there is a proper career growth plan for me.
The panel lacked basic diversity in communication style and perspective. All three interviewers on the craft panel approached questions in a very similar way, which limited the opportunity to demonstrate adaptability and broader skills.
I recently had an interview at Intuit for the position of Staff Software Engineer, and it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had. Firstly, the interviewer was 10-12 minutes late, and I was about to write an email to the recruit
A nice and professional way.
