Salary and job security: Okay. Perks: Great benefits.
Hardly any diversity in SWE departments. Program managers don't care for your well-being. No one seems to have a work-life balance; engineers live to work. There's no mental health or technical support for apprentices. You'll be gaslit by program managers and managers. Even if you "successfully" complete the apprenticeship, you will only get an offer based on the team you're placed on, and some teams set you up for failure. And if you do get the offer, then be prepared to struggle and have a non-work-life balance.
Hire program managers that actually care for diversity and inclusion and understand the role and backgrounds of apprentices.
Need better communication with third-party organizers so that apprentices are not in limbo.
Program should select people with some CS background, or if they pick non-traditional backgrounds, the program should ensure that apprentices are getting sufficient support during the apprenticeship and post-offer.

The HR called me and sent me home with a test. The interview included a home test and a professional interview. The HR also provided an explanation about the company and its benefits.
Final round virtual interview with two engineers over BlueJeans. Present a project and continue with standard behavioral questions, asking about past projects and internships. Go over Intuit values and demonstrate situations when you practiced them.
